112 - Grandma's Dead

Eric is driving his grandmother Bernice home after one of her tension-filled visits. When he gets the nerve to ask why she's always so mean and observes that being nice once in a while wouldn't kill her, she falls over dead on his shoulder. He returns home with his dead grandma to tell Red and Kitty, and Kitty immediately begins acting as if Bernice had always been a wonderful person. Red breaks the news to his brother Marty who takes it very hard. Eric is guilt-ridden, convinced that he killed his grandma. Eric's sister Laurie is home for the funeral and Uncle Marty is there along with Eric's friends who have come to give their condolences. Back at the house as they're looking through their mother's possessions, Red can't bring himself to tell Marty he wants some toy trains they played with as kids, so Marty says he'll keep them which infuriates Red. Later, Red and Eric share their regrets about their last few minutes with Bernice.
