214 - Kitty and Eric's Night Out

Fez surprises the guys when he shows up with Patty, his new girlfriend, and the same girl who blew Hyde off on their blind date. Kitty's upset when Eric doesn't seem to want to go shopping with her; Red's solution is to force Eric to spend time with his mother. Fez can't stop talking about his new girlfriend and showing her off to his friends, but Jackie seems to be less than enthusiastic about Fez's new love. Red informs Eric that he has to spend some time with Kitty; Kitty suggests a movie, since she's been wanting to see Annie Hall. Jackie isn't thrilled when Patty tells her how romantic Fez has been; after Patty leaves with Fez , Jackie tells everyone that she can't stand her. Hyde still has his job at Fotohut, but spends most of the time playing board games with Leo, his boss. Kitty and Eric start their evening out at the pizzeria, and things couldn't be more awkward, but Kitty tells Eric that she's doing him a favor; boys who reject their mothers have relationship problems later. At the movie theater, both Kitty and Eric find it embarrassing that they're watching sex scenes together but manage to laugh about it afterward. Hyde tells Leo that he knows he should be happy for Fez, but it feels weird that Fez is dating Patty. Donna suggests to Jackie that maybe she has problems with Patty because she's interested in Fez herself. Red's glad that Kitty and Eric had fun, so now he won't have to kick Eric's ass. And Donna tells Eric that he's the sweetest guy in the world for going out with his mother.
